Wet Weather Update
With heavy rain predicted for Saturday morning, MLB PlayBall London is going ahead with some adjustments to our published location and schedule.
We’re moving indoors for the morning to the Sports Hall (David Fussey Building) on the University of Greenwich campus (map here). Depending on the weather, we’ll move outdoors for the afternoon or continue at the sports hall. Both options are captured in our Wet Weather Plan — please take a look to see the new timings and check back here and on our social media for updates.
Pre-registered attendees will receive an email confirming times for their sessions. Doors will open at 9:15 at the Sports Hall, SE9 2UG — see you there.
Free kids' baseball open day
Saturday 6th June
On Saturday, 6th June, we are hosting the UK’s only official MLB PLAY BALL Weekend at the University of Greenwich in Eltham, London, SE9 2UG.
The Greenwich Giants are excited to welcome Major League Baseball and their global youth initiative to southeast London this June.
We are so excited to bring the thrill and joy of Major League Baseball to the children of southeast London. The day is perfect for anyone who has ever thought about hitting a home run or wanted to try their hand at pitching, regardless of ability or experience.

MLB PLAY BALL London hosted by the Greenwich Giants forms part of MLB’s worldwide PLAY BALL Weekend celebrations over the weekend of 5th to 7th June. The Greenwich event is currently the only officially recognised PLAY BALL Weekend activation in the UK, placing Greenwich and the Giants alongside baseball communities from countries including Japan, India, China, Australia, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines in celebrating the global event.
